《Tips for Minors' Healthy Participation in Online Games》

With the popularization of the Internet among teenagers, minors' contact with online games has become a common phenomenon. To protect minors' healthy participation in games, while the government further strengthens industry management, parents should also strengthen supervision and guidance. Therefore, we provide the following suggestions for minors' participation in online games:

1. Actively control gaming time. Games are just adjustments to study and life. Actively participate in various offline activities and let parents understand your behavior and experience in online games.

2. Do not participate in game settings that may consume a lot of time. Do not play large role-playing games or games with PK settings. Students should not play games for more than 2 hours per week and spend no more than 10 yuan per month on games.

3. Do not use games as spiritual sustenance. Especially when encountering pressure and setbacks in real life, communicate more with family and friends, and do not rely solely on games to relieve pressure.

4. Develop a positive and healthy gaming mentality. Overcome psychology of comparison, showing off, hatred, and revenge, and avoid forming bad online behavioral habits such as bullying the weak and robbing others.

5. Pay attention to protecting personal information. Including personal family and friend identity information, home, school, and work addresses, phone numbers, etc., to prevent online traps and cybercrime.

Parental Supervision Application Process

The parental supervision system fully considers parents' actual needs. When parents find that their children are too addicted to games, parents can provide legal guardian qualification certificates, game name accounts, and parents' wishes for restriction intensity. Several restriction measures can be taken on accounts in a state of children's game addiction to solve the bad phenomenon of minors being addicted to online games, such as limiting the time interval and length of children's daily gaming, or limiting gaming to weekends only, or completely prohibiting it.
